Some Participation Suggestions

Singing

• Another story song, with the chorus coming in at the beginning and the end – bookending the story.
• I usually just sing the story but playing the song is just as effective
• This tends to allows children to enact the story and audience the chance to witness the enactment

Activities

• Could be Dramatised or mimed.
• 2 groups required – one choir and the other the enactment group.
• I have had groups of children come up with their own actions for the verses.
